Spaced Repetition Planner

Enter the day you first studied a topic and, if you have one, your exam date. You get the review dates that fight the forgetting curve: after 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 and 60 days, stopping at your exam.

ReviewWhenDate
Review 1+1 dayDay 1
Review 2+3 daysDay 3
Review 3+7 daysDay 7
Review 4+14 daysDay 14
Review 5+30 daysDay 30
Review 6+60 daysDay 60

A common, simple schedule. Flashcard apps like Anki adjust intervals card by card; this planner gives you a good default for whole topics.

How to use the reviews

  • Quiz, don’t reread. Each review is 10–15 minutes of answering questions from memory. See studying with practice quizzes.
  • Focus on mistakes. Redo what you got wrong last time first.
  • Reviews get shorter. By the 30-day review, most of it should feel easy.

Why these intervals?

Each successful recall slows down forgetting, so the next review can wait longer. The details are in why you forget what you study, and 6 fixes.
